WTF is up with Wikipedia and vandalism? *There is no way to REPORT it!?*

EDIT: The article is fixed now. But for future reference: While Google did not lead to enlightening information,

there is an official way to report vandalism.

If you can't or don't want to fix an error, your best approach depends on what kind of problem it is:

  • if it's clear vandalism and you can't fix it, please email info-en-v@wikimedia.org and include the address or title of the article and a description of the issue.
  • if it's an error or omission, please leave a note at the talk page of the article explaining the problem.

You can also email the Wikipedia Volunteer Response Team at info-en-o@wikimedia.org , although we may not be able to assist with all suggestions. That list is managed by a small group of volunteers. If you do email, please include the address or title of the article and a description of the issue.

I just saw a vandalized article: http://bit.ly/2cQaORW

It starts like this: "Misfits is a British science fiction comedy-drama television show, which this Wikipedia page, username @phagoccytosis has ruined, on E4, about a group of young offenders"...

Obvious vandalism. I looked for a way to report this. Googled and read for a few minutes. Result: Wikipedia seems to have no way to report vandalized articles, instead you are expected to fix the problem yourself or are expected to find out WHO vandalized it and report the user.

That would be complete SHIT if it were so, and if it isn't, then my irritation is justified, because all information I could find about the issue was as described above - so either it is as described above (Which would be complete SHIT.) - or there are actually proper ways to report vandalized articles, but they are fucking HARD to find.

Which is it? And how should I move on from here?

I love Wikipedia, but this situation is atrocious and lowers Wikipedia a lot in my view. :(
